This is not a cheery article. From the Independent in Britain, an article discussing the 10 worst communicable diseases and what’s being done to stop them. They are all considered by the World Health Organization (WHO) to be a serious threat to humans. Including on-going outbreaks of The Plague, which recently had a small city in China on lock-down. Ebola is grabbing the headlines of course, but MERS continues to be a threat as does the measles and an avian flu. A scary read, that’s for sure. Full article and discussion at link below.
