They prove that the very simple “My Name is Earl,” good things cause good things/bad things cause bad things, Westernized definition of Karma is true. The much more complicated religious concept remains up for discussion.
Don’t fret, though! The list is still super cool! It’s got classic stories of unintended consequences, like the warlord who decapitated his enemy, but died an infection from the dead man’s tooth cutting him as he rode, and some really interesting obscure ones to boot. A Texan radio station may have thought they were doing God’s will by burning Beatles records after they declared themselves “bigger than Jesus,” but their tower being disabled by a lightning strike the very next day must have been discouraging, to say the least…
