The internet sometimes tricks us into thinking the world is smaller than it is. But every now and then the internet gives us some perspective on just how massive our world is. For example, did you know that every five seconds, Dunkin’ Donuts sells over a hundred cups of coffee, Americans eat 2750 hot dogs, and 35,000 Coca Cola products are consumed. Every five freakin’ seconds!
It gets weirder. Every five seconds there are 205,000 Facebook posts, 23,000 tweets, and 17,000,000 emails sent. More tangibly, every five seconds twenty-one babies are born, nine people die, and Oprah earns about $43.
Intense, right?
