I have to agree with the author of this article, who writes:

In a horrible development, stupid Internet abbreviations, including lolz and obvs, are now official Scrabble words. “Lolz” is a cheap way of getting at least 13 points….

But, the editors at MarketWatch wondered, how many of the ticker symbols are really old-school(ish) valid words for the Scrabble-player? The answer that they came up with is 692. They are all visible on a Google spreadsheet that they’ve set up, and they give you the link for it. I’ll give you a snapshot.
