Most of us have heard of Helen Keller, but all we really know is that she was deaf and blind. In truth, there’s a lot more about Helen Keller that doesn’t get talked about. Like the fact that she was a scholar, having graduated magna cum laude from Radcliffe College. Her teacher spelled all of her textbooks into Keller’s hand––letter by letter.

Helen Keller was also a bit of a radical. She pushed hard for women’s rights and children’s rights. Her views were so liberal that the Nazis actually burned her books. Oh, that’s right, she was also an accomplished author. See the rest at the full story.
