Between writing the best music of all time, J.S. Bach was sippin’ on his coffee. He even wrote a short opera about it. Beethoven was just as obsessed, but in a much weirder way. He preferred his coffee with exactly sixty beans. No more, no less. Voltaire drank forty-to-fifty cupsĀ per day!
So next time someone gives you grief about drinking coffee, you can just tell them, “hey, Kierkegaard drank coffee with thirty sugar cubes and look what he did. Get off my back!” Then enjoy your joe.
