10 super-obscure Marvel superheroes: From Squirrel Girl to Doop
Posted by staff / November 10, 2013 DoopMarvel superheroesTime Magazine has a list of some superheroes that you may never have heard of. Not a Superman in the list. Here are three of them:
Squirrel Girl
New York City’s Central Park has finally found the hero it deserves. With enhanced strength, speed and a fuzzy tail to boot, her most fearsome ability may be her ability to command a legion of squirrels at will. Just don’t leave any macadamia nuts lying around or she’ll come nipping at you.
And of course there’s Doop!
Doop
Don’t let its green-bean appearance fool you, Doop is the world’s most fearsome… cameraman? This product of a Cold War era U.S. military experiment finds its way to becoming the cameraman for the media-savvy mutant superteam X-Force. It takes a serious pair of green cojones to keep up with Wolverine’s escapades.
And less surprising is one called Rocket Racer:
Rocket Racer
Robert Farrell’s Rocket Racer alter-ego is equipped with a rocket-propelled skateboard as well as gloves that fire mini-rockets. Talk about rocket science.
