14 most beautiful college quads in the United States
Posted by staff / January 15, 2014If you went to school with an iconic quad, you probably have many stories to tell of time spent there, only half of which are appropriate to post on the Internet if you ever want to find employment.
Business Insider traveled the country in search of the best of the best and came up with a list of the top fourteen and two honorable mentions, but as far as we’re concerned, they could have stuck with the top fourteen. Ha ha.
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign — Main Quad (above)
The UIUC Main Quad houses Foellinger Auditorium, a concert space and lecture hall that can seat over 1,500 students.
Stanford University — Main Quad
The Main Quad is home to the Stanford Memorial Church, considered to be the earliest nondenominational church on the West Coast.
University of Washington — The Quad
The UW Quad is known for the scenic cherry trees that bloom in the springtime, bringing a beautiful light pink overtone to campus.
