Amazingly realistic artificial skylight [video]

Can’t stand the glare of artificial light? Then a group of Italian scientists thinks they have the solution for you in CoeLux.
By imitating the way the atmosphere creates the blue of the sky and shining an LED “sun” through it, artificial light has never looked more real and no cloud can dim your view.
According to Colossal:
The light is currently available in three different configurations that mimic sunlight at different points on the globe including tropical, mediterranean, and nordic environments. Applications for CoeLux might involve anywhere light is scarce, from extreme environments like scientific outposts to underground parking garages or even in hospitals.
