Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was––and arguably still is––Disney’s greatest masterpiece. This movie represented a major leap in animation, and this video tells the story of what Walt Disney did to make this movie so incredible. He started by making his artists attend life-drawing classes, where they learned to make animated characters look more like real humans. This enabled them to create characters who were more relatable, and this in turn disproved his critics, who believed that audiences would never empathize with an animated character.
