An intimate look at the Egyptian protests
Posted by staff / February 13, 2011The world has witnessed the trials and tribulations, the disappointment and elation of the Egyptian protests over the last few weeks covering events from a variety of angles, but the BBC decided to take a closer look at the more practical aspects of life in Cairo’s Tahrir Square.
Their interactive map allows those far from the action to get glimpses of how the Egyptians dealt with every circumstance from using the toilet to reading the latest newspapers, including a kindergarten for keeping the youngest activists current on their studies.
