A construction crew in the UK stumbled upon the remains of a man who died a violent death 2,500 years ago. Inside the skull, researchers were able to remove a completely intact brain! The damp soil preserved the brain and prevented it from decomposing, but not before altering it chemically, turning it into a durable material a quarter of its original size.
