Tidbits of truth about men and sex
Posted by staff / April 20, 2011Rhiannon Hill has spent the past fifteen years providing therapy to couples and, in that time, she has picked up on quite a few things about men and sex. Sure, not all dudes adhere to these “truths” as she calls them, but it seems like a woman who has been privy to men’s deepest relationship thoughts and feelings knows a little something (maybe).
A sampling of what Hill has learned about men and sex:
- Text flirting is like a tree falling in the forest with no one around—if no one sees it, it doesn’t count.
- Perusing internet porn has nothing to do with not getting enough in bedroom and has everything to do with power.
- The main reason men commit to a relationship is to get regular sex.
- Men who express a fear their partner will “get fat” are really just admitting to using their partners as an ego prop.
- Men exposed to “Porno Babes” at 13 and younger have a distorted view of real women.
- Anxiety about equipment is common.
