(Literally) an inside look at the Hindenburg
Posted by staff / January 13, 2010Though a swanky interior could never quite inspire someone to ride in the Hindenburg again, 80 years after the infamous disaster, Airships gives an impressive photo tour of the air balloon’s insides. I never knew anything about the aircraft aside from its awful ending, but this blog guides us through the Hindenburg’s promenades, dining room, lounge, writing room, bar, and smoking room. Despite the tragic circumstances, I’ve got to say — the furnishings look posh. Here are some of my favorite pictures:
