How airplane food gets made

The days of free airline meals are long gone, but many of us still remember eating an airline meal. And, if you’re lucky enough to get a first class upgrade bump, you have a more recent memory of eating airline food. This video explains how those airline meals are made, from the beginning to the end. It also explains how the chefs make sure that the food survives transportation from the kitchen tot he plane, then reheating in an atmosphere not exactly conducive to high quality food.
