It wasn’t long ago I was watching a VHS version of one of the first Star Wars films and realized parts looked completely different from the DVDs my son had been obsessively absorbing for months.
For diehard fans — and even my sad self — the changes aren’t breaking news, but it’s fascinating to see just how far they’ve come since the late ’70s and early ’80s thanks to these incredibly detailed comparison videos created by YouTube user Marcelo Zuniga.
