With all the technology at our fingertips, why is it so hard to make a product that doesn’t fill the landfill by going full circle?
If you’re a business person with a green streak, now you have the option of an environmentally-friendly briefcase thanks to Dutch company reWrap.
The Tree Bag isn’t just a use-once-and-toss accessory, but a long-lasting, waterproof bag thanks to its unique materials.
The external part of the bag is made of strong and water-resistant coconut husk fibre pressed together with natural resin. Inside, the bag is made of sun-dried rubber, which makes it waterproof and (unlike its industrial vulcanised variant) biodegradable.
Even the thread is made of wood pulp, which is more environmentally friendly to produce than traditional fibers.
