Breaking Bad’s Hank Schrader––the hero in an antihero’s world

Breaking Bad was a masterpiece of character development. Most of the focus of critical analysis is on Walter White’s descent into evil, but this video focuses on Walter’s brother-in-law Hank Schrader. Hank, the video points out, is a hero in an anti-hero’s world. The show tricks us into rooting for Walt, even though he’s definitely the villain. Hank thus escapes our attention, but his development is every bit as interesting as Walt’s development.
