Writer’s note: In the spirit of the holiday season, I apologize to those who were offended by this menorah. We certainly respect all religions, particularly during this special holiday season of holy observances and cultural traditions. My interest in this post by Tampon Crafts came not out of any disrespect toward particular ways of life but rather out of surprise that someone could take a simple item like tampons and create a complex craft. I erred in overlooking some of the unpleasant associations with tampons, especially those that are culture-specific. I am sorry to those who were offended and best wishes for happy holidays. -Noelle
Noelle, deepest thanks for the apology. It really speaks to your character.
Of note: no apology from Guy Kawasaki (co-founder of Alltop) who tweeted this THREE TIMES. Very telling.
