There is very little more frustrating than sitting at a stoplight and watching the light go from green to yellow to red without you moving much at all. You have probably thought about the million ways you could fix the problem while you were stuck at one of those very lights. But, if given a million years, you probably wouldn’t think of the diverging diamond. This strangely designed interchange is faster and safer than the standard interchange.
