Don Draper’s best put downs [infographic]
Posted by staff / August 24, 2015How often have you wished you could deliver the perfect put down when the moment called for it rather than thinking of it hours after the fact?
Of course, Don Draper has a crew of writers doing the hard part, but it never hurts to dream.
Here are a few of his choicer phrases.
Via Glow New Media.
“I don’t have a contract.” Season 2, episode 13.
“you’re as useless as a poopie flavored lollypop”
“I can’t decide if you have everything…or nothing.” Season 1.
To Peggy – “You haven’t done a single thing here which I can’t live without”. Season 3.
“Let’s pretend that I’m not responsible for every good thing that’s ever happened to you”
I don’t recall that exact season, but it’s from the episode where Peggy tells Don she’s leaving the company…and him.
A little help out there,anyone?
“It wasn’t a lie, it was ineptitude with insufficient cover.” – Season 1 (I’ve actually used this one myself. Thank you Mad Men writers!)
@ Jeremy: “Let’s pretend that I’m not responsible for every good thing that’s ever happened to you” – Season 5, episode 11. Epic, EPIC episode. One of my favs next to “The Suitcase” – season 4, episode 7.
MAD MEN IS OVER GIVE IT A REST
