Why it’s so expensive to eat healthy in the U.S.?

You probably grabbed a bunch of processed foods that would last awhile, and come checkout you got a pretty small total. Compare that to a trip to the store for fresh groceries. The fresher, healthier food you buy the more expensive it is. This video explains that the massive cost differential between fresh and processed food comes not only from the cost of production of fresh foods, but also from government subsidies.
