The conflict between Buddhist Myanmar and the Rohingya Muslims dates back to WWII, but today, it’s reached the level of an ethnic cleansing crisis that’s gained international attention.
Despite their residence in the area of Myanmar since the 15th century, they’ve been deemed illegal immigrants in that country and been forced to flee by the hundreds of thousands.
