How the Falcon Rocket lands vertically

The SpaceX program stunned the world when it built a rocket that took off and landed vertically. Obviously that’s a ridiculously hard task to accomplish, but this video helps explain how it works with the help of some hand-drawn animations. And this is no simple explanation––it digs into the difficulties of stabilizing something the shape of a rocket as it changes its parabolic motion. The video also describes the Skylon, a space place that takes off from a regular runway.
