With spring in full swing, many a homeowner’s mind turns to sprucing up the landscape, but if a gazebo is too prosaic for your slightly paranoid tastes, why not consider a unique option that will be sure to make your home a local landmark and far safer to boot? A moat.
William Gurstille provides everything you need to know about this old-fashioned, but very intimidating method of keeping the hordes of cookie-selling Girl Scouts away from your compound, and, hey, just for kicks, you can always throw a few koi in to make it a little more acceptable to the HOA.
