Fox, bald eagles, and cats all hang out on Alaskan woman’s porch [video]

Posted by / December 6, 2015

Is this daily life in Alaska? If so, sign us up. This woman gets eagles and foxes as regular visitors to her porch, and she manages to capture some pretty great videos of them all. In this one, they’re all bickering over some fish.

Full story at YouTube.

More crazy wildlife.

    You are so blessed.

While it makes for great videos, it is dangerous and illegal to do anything that baits wild animals-including leaving garbage about that will attract them. The bigger the predator you attract the more dangerous it is for you and your neighbors.

What happens when a small child or lone family pet accidentally comes too close to the food source/garbage? what happens when the bears start to come out of hibernation and are very hungry? Then the same people who thought wildlife was great blame the bears and wolves for being a nuisance.

    That’s one ballsy little fox!!!

  • I really like when people have enough gumption to permit some of the wild to take part in their lives. Makes me smile, gives me more hope.

Thanks for the clip. Am still smiling.

  • Thats no thing. I got cryps, bloods and MS-13 hanging out on my porch.

Thanks Yahoo for putting a 3+ year old video on your front page of your “news”

  • I don’t agree with Ted:
although they are wild animals, they have enough intelligence to realize there is no threat, that’s why 4 very different species are together in such a small space. I say 4 species, because it’s obvious the HUMAN was wholly present and filming these magnificent creatures, and all the ‘wild animals’ did not run away in fear. The Intelligence AND Sentience of animals commands respect, and those who don’t are missing out.

  • Those cats were terrified.

  • Justa Seagull

No wonder they hang out, looks like she’s feeding them.

  • Won’t the fox attack her cats though?

  • Carol

The fox looks thin and hungry and it’s face looks as though it’s been in a fight. Why are the cats outside in the cold? They should be in the house. The container on the porch probably has food in it and the birds and fox want something.

Yeah cannot say this was the most intelligent person on the planet.
Certainly does not care about the long term care of her domestic cats, fox and eagle would kill them for food.
As another commentor noticed, those cats were terrified and rightly so.
its all cute and cuddly until someone remembers they are a predator.
