If you have seen “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” then you know that it’s a bit of a strangely organized film. The main plot and the subplot seem to switch around from time to time, and sometimes it’s hard to tell who the real protagonist is. In this Lessons from the Screenplay installment, he analyzes the structure of the “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and considers how the writers had to transition the book to the screen play.
