Makeshift motorhome built on a Prius

When James Lawler was trying to figure out alternatives to staying in a tent during a music festival and wasn’t pleased with the cookie-cutter designs of most motorhomes, he decided to tackle the problem in his back shed.
With the equivalent of about $113 USD, a lot of dumpster diving, and a week’s worth of work, he created this creative solution to mount on his Prius.
While it made his trip more comfortable, the police were not amused when they pulled him over on the way home, but he’s determined to build a better model in the future.
