Meet the man behind the motivational quotes

The names of famous authors may come to mind with ease, but it’s unlikely the name of Mac Anderson skips off the tip of your tongue even though his work has undoubtedly been motivating you since the late ’80s.
Entrepreneur’s Jason Daley got the chance to speak to the man behind the iconic motivational posters we’ve come to love (or hate) to speak about how he came up with the idea for this multi-million dollar endeavor and why it took off like an eagle into the sunset.
Why do you think the posters were so successful?
I think there are millions of people who share my love of quotes. It’s like looking through the lens of a camera. Sometimes things are blurry, but then you tweak the lens and it becomes crystal clear. You see the quote and say, “That’s how I feel!” Once you put it on your desk or wall, it’s just a reminder of what’s important in life and how you are going to reach your goal.
