If you like taking your adventures at a snail’s pace, there’s no better place to do it than the cliffside path of Hua Shan, one of the five great mountains of China.
For approximately five U.S. dollars, you can strap yourself to two wires and negotiate a few hundred yards of death-defying “…steel rod ladders, footholds carved out of the cliff and narrow wooden plank walks.”
