Went to the river every Memorial Day!
Ahhhh…
The memories….the ones I can remember anyway.
lol
wow, you've really changed since that picture was taken
Nice fro, man!!
Nice shot. Of course, in late 70s I got stuck at the top of a ferris wheel for 2 hours at the Maryland State Fair. Not fun.
Inden 70ern war die schöne und wilde Jugendzeit für mich vorbei dann hebe ich Geheiratet
+Paul Garza and +Jay Zee LMAO!
Unless you were at Cedar Point Amusement Park recently.
+Edward Harris Cedar Point, haven't thought about that in decades, as in since the 70's when I last went there. It's still in business?
+David LeBlanc Yes, still very much in business. Just had a boat accident there on one of the rides although no deaths.
OK
Haha, reminds me Lincoln Hayes!
Soul brother. A sentiment that seems to have gone out of fashion (not that clothes make the trope).
It was the photo more than anything which got me to check this link out. 🙂
A thought of a treehouse lounge bar….imagine a ride to your home through the trees in a dark forest catching the breeze…the hoot owls and such a peaceful idea othwr than a farris wheel taking you in circles to see the busy city with swarms of impoverished people & pavement absorbing the heat of the day.
lol thanks you
yeah you could always take your girl friend to White Castle for a buck
+Dart Gar I took some friends and my wife to a White Castle after a wedding reception we went to in Louisville, KY. That was also a birthday gift to me because we don't have White Castle in Houston and after a good party, it's the perfect place to go and get 'em by the bag. They didn't get the feeling of the experience, all growing up in Texas. I was in heaven munching on my sliders. They just thought they were tiny and odd tasting burgers.
Talk about a cultural divide.
Miller was a cheap beeer, champale just came out. Taking your date out was affordable then. Korvettes and Alexanders were still around. The music who could forget that. It was simpler and a little scary with Vietnam and the draft.
Looking at these photos you can see that the obesity problem had not started yet. What changed ??
Guy, is that you in the middle?
Mod squad
That would be great"! The 70s was a right!!!!!!:-
Nice picture of the green mustang
TY !!
Shared on my Baby Boomer Group at FB 😉
Life before digital overload… 😉 Sigh
Did it get complex and bad?
…and Why?
