Photos from Walt Disney’s Apartment at Disneyland
Posted by staff / July 18, 2011My kids and I were guests of Disneyland, and we got to see some special places at the park. These are pictures from the apartment that Walt Disney lived in during the construction of the park.
The apartment is located above the fire department on Main Street.
You walk past this area to get to the front door.
This is where Walt used to sit to watch the Main Street parade.
This was his view—then the tree grew too big.
The foyer to the apartment.
Walt’s bathroom.
The living room.
An Edison home phonograph—aka, the first iPod.
Sitting in Walt’s chair.
Walt like grilled-cheese sandwiches.
Baby bottles for his grandchildren.
(Disclosure: my two kids and I were treated as VIP guests of Disneyland. And when I say “VIP,” I mean VIP. We stayed in the Pirates of the Caribbean Suite and had a VIP tour guide with us the whole time.)

Man, so cool. Sorry, i don’t know who you are. How did you get to the level of being able to see his apartment, I’ve always wanted to see it, but as far as I understand it’s not on any of the tours.
[…] Also, not everyone is prohibited from taking photographs inside. You can see a few more views including the patio and the bathroom from Davelandweb and this other site. […]
