Physics in action: a bowling ball and feathers fall simultaneously in a vacuum [video]

Posted by / November 5, 2014

We all remember from high school physics that objects fall to the earth because of gravity. Those who paid close attention know that all objects fall at the same velocity; the only reason a bowling ball and a feather actually fall at different speeds is resistance from the air. In this video, you can see the dramatic difference air makes when a bowling ball and some feathers are dropped simultaneously in a vacuum.
