Russian mother and burgeoning photographer, Elena Shumilova, took a different path, though; she managed to combine her art education from the Moscow Institute of Architecture and time spent with her children on the farm into both a new career and a collection of timeless momentos.
As she told Bored Panda:
“Children and animals – it’s my life. I’m a mom with two sons and we spend a lot of time on the farm…I’ve been shooting every day and processing the images at nights. By autumn I felt I found my own way of approaching photography.”
And the results are truly stunning, particularly when you realize she only got her first camera in 2012.

But there is no picture, as my parents were not present:.My brother catched a german shepherd dog which was prowling on the streets and it was pulling my sledge on the snowy street… God bless Elena for the pics and Bored Panda who shared the story.
