Neither by snow nor rain nor heat nor urge to poop will keep United States Postal Workers from delivering the mail.

Residents busted a mail carrier in Portland, Oregon with his pants down taking a squat along his route. Don Derfler snapped photographs of the mailman as he dropped the kids off at the pool relieved himself near a neighbor’s garage.

“He started pulling his pants down and started defecating and at that point I grabbed my camera and started to take pictures,” commented Derfler.

A US Postal Service spokesman expressed dismay over the incident, saying, “We’re taking this very seriously and I really want to apologize to our customers and to the public. I’ve worked for the Postal Service for many years and have never heard of an incident like this and I hope I never do again.”

The post office has suspended the mail carrier without pay pending an investigation. No word on who had the uneviable task of cleaning up the evidence.
