Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, and Dana Carvey reflect on their failed show

You might not realize that Dana Carvey once had his own show. Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, and Dana Carvey all worked on that show. It was a sketch comedy bit, and it definitely pushed the limits of appropriate prime time humor. It was a pretty funny show, but it totally bombed. Why? It was right after Home Improvement––a totally family-friendly TV show. The moment Dana Carvey’s show came on, families turned the channel.
