Take it all off for World Naked Gardening Day

Or not. I mean, we’ve all heard the warnings about ticks, so be sure to do a thorough check if you decided to go gardening in your birthday suit May 6th.
According to WideOpenSpaces:
The first annual World Naked Gardening Day event took place on September 10, 2005. In 2007, the event date was moved to the first Saturday in May where it still takes place to this day. The day before, International Permaculture Day, also takes place on the first Sunday of May.
Officially speaking, the celebration isn’t necessarily a group activity, nor is it meant to have anything to do with a roll in the hay (which would be itchy). Just a chance to let nothing come between you and your garden.
No words to express the relief my Granny never discovered this particular holiday…
