The Food Cycler turns scraps into compost in a mere 3 hours [video]

Fear not, urban environmental warriors, the Food Cycler is here to save the day!
According to their campaign at Indiegogo:
The Food Cycler Home sterilizes, deodorizes and turns potentially harmful food scraps (even a McDonald’s hamburger) into safe, sterilized, organic compost. The byproducts of the process have been lab tested and approved for use as a soil amendment and accelerant.
Unlike other home compost devices, the Food Cycler process only takes around 3 hours and emits ZERO odor and little noise, allowing the device to be seamlessly integrated into the kitchen, or anywhere else within your home! (The unit is approximately 1cu.ft.)
And just in time to get a jump on the container gardening season…
Compost ON! Awesome-Awesome!
Wonder what energy rating it has to run it. Might be good for the lazy gardener too 😉
This looks like a dehydrator, not a composter. Composting is microbially driven not powered by a coal plant. How much power does it take and what happens when the product gets wet again?
I love how she put the dehydrated food scraps around her house plant. As soon as she waters her house plant, voila, food waste again!
