Maybe you pen your weighty tomes kicked back in a special chair or swear by the use of an old-fashioned typewriter.
Every writer has their preferred way of working and now you can take a few notes from the masters thanks to the tumblr Writers at Work, compiled by E.J. Pfauth.
Currently, there are 400 pics in the collection with more being added all the time, and the writers range from modern authors to classics.
