Trump suffering bouts of depression, neglects official duties

Posted by / December 7, 2020

Trump’s final days in office are characterized by depression, rage, and neglect of duties, according to a New York Times report.

Last week, Trump lashed out at Republican governors who do not support him enough, especially the governors of Georgia and Arizona, who Trump feels that the governors are not real Republicans.

You know it’s dark days for Trump when he turns on his favorite, Fox News, and looks like the final threads of Donald Trump’s friendship with Fox News might be snapping––Trump has just angrily tweeted that Fox News is “virtually unwatchable,” directing his followers to more fringe outlets. Troubles having been brewing since the election. Fox News interrupted Kayleigh McEnany, Trump’s Press Secretary, in the middle of a tirade about alleged voter fraud––a tirade with no evidence. The Fox News host said, “Whoa, whoa, whoa. I just think we have to be very clear: she’s charging the other side as welcoming fraud and illegal voting, unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue to show you this,” as he interrupted her.

Trump also angrily ranted about Twitter (on Twitter, as usual), implying it was a threat to national security and expressing the desire to change the laws in order to shut it down. It’s unlikely that such a thing would happen, but his threats come as no surprise.

Trump’s twitter fan base is shrinking. Followers are abandoning him by the thousands. In the last week alone, he’s lost 46,000 followers. On November 25 alone, he lost 10,000 followers.
