Using a bidet for the first time [video]

Stateside, the bidet is a rarity, a novelty, a pleasant or not-so-pleasant surprise, so Buzzfeed video figured they provide a fresh new start in the bathroom for a few lucky bidet virgins.
As one experimenter noted, “It’s like a flu shot. You don’t want it, but once you have it, you’re like ‘I’m glad I did that.'”
Considering how few people get a flu shot, though, this generally positive reaction doesn’t portend good things to come for the bidet in the U.S.
Now, seat warmers are another issue entirely. Bring on the bun warmers!
