Ah, the name on your Starbucks cup, a small, simple reminder that someone knows your name in this mindless, impersonal world, but wait…what is this?!
Who on earth would spell “Kate” K-A-E-Y-T? It’s absurd. Is this some trendy new way of spelling it? Am I so old that I didn’t know? I come in here every day for six years and you still don’t know my name?!
