Here’s why old people have that smell

It’s an awkward subject, but we’ve all noticed that old people have a certain odor. That’s partly way going to nursing homes is such an intense experience––it’s like an injection of old people odor straight to the brain stem. And no, it’s not in your head, either. You’re not being rude or dealing with a psychosis, there really is an old people smell. This video explains that the smell is a normal part of the aging process and result from the decline in antioxidants associated with aging.
