Missouri college student allegedly prompted 5 suicides
Posted by Robert Leonard / August 4, 2019America’s first (known) serial killer, H.H. Holmes, said he became fascinated with death at a very young age. He was bullied as a kid, and when his bullies found out that he was afraid of doctors they forced him to stare at a skeleton in a doctor’s office. It was then, Holmes said, his obsession with death began.
The infamous (and, according to some sickos, “hot“) Ted Bundy was also fascinated with death, and that fascination goes beyond the obvious––the fact the he murdered women. In college, Bundy worked at a suicide hotline. One wonders what he said to those who called in, and what sick pleasure he gained from hearing about their suffering.
H.H. Holmes and Ted Bundy went on to have prolific careers as serial killers. Brandon Grossheim, a Missouri college student, has the dubious honor of joining their ranks without ever lifting a knife or pulling a trigger himself. A lawsuit brought forth by the parents of two deceased students accuses Grossheim of convincing those students to commit suicide. All told, Grossheim allegedly gave five students step-by-step instructions for self harm, was found in their vicinity near the time of death, had keys to four of their rooms, and even wore the clothing of one of the deceased. Even more startling, he dated one of the victims girlfriends after the victim’s death. All of these deaths took place in the 2016-2017 school year.
