Strike! Over on the Huffington Post is an amazing story about someone who recently bought a buildling in Queens and discovered an old-fashioned bowling alley underneath. Check out great pictures of the two-lane manual bowling alley on HuffPo. The owners conjecture that the space was a club during Prohibition. Maybe a speakeasy!
By the way, for history buffs and drink enthusiasts, this Saturday is Repeal Day—the 76th anniversary of the end of Prohibition.
