When Barr released his summary of the Mueller report, few besides die-hard republicans were happy. Apparently, Mueller was one of those people who were frustrated by Barr’s report. According to a source in the justice department speaking to the AP, Mueller wrote a letter to Barr days after the report dropped. According to the source, Mueller’s letter expressed frustration that Barr’s report misrepresented the team’s findings.

Bill Maher has said, “This Bill Barr is so far up Trump’s ass he bumped into Hannity:” Jeffrey Toobin, CNN’s chief legal analyst, said basically the same thing: “It turns out the attorney general is Sean Hannity and Sean Hannity is the attorney general.”

James Comey, former FBI director, has also blasted Barr in light of Barr’s criticism of the FBI and his own Justice Department. “The AG should stop sliming his own Department. If there are bad facts, show us, or search for them professionally and then tell us what you found. An AG must act like the leader of the Department of Justice, an organization based on truth. Donald Trump has enough spokespeople.”

Criticism of Barr has grown steadily since he first released his summary of the Mueller report. A few weeks ago, Nancy Pelosi opened the possibility of impeaching Barr.
