What Elon Musk doesn’t want you to know about the Tesla Truck
Posted by Josh Taylor / December 23, 2017The Tesla semi-truck has the potential to turn the trucking industry all topsy-turvy. But the guy behind Real Engineering is very skeptical (as are many other skeptics). He watched the Tesla reveal waiting to hear one thing: how much the Tesla semi-truck weighs. Read MoreHow machine learning works
Posted by Josh Taylor / December 22, 2017Artificial intelligence and machine learning are all the rage in the tech rags lately. If you are confused about about what machine learning is or how it works, then this excellent CGP Grey video is for you. Using some helpful (and simple) animations, he explains that machine learning basically works like this. You’d think falling down a flight of stairs would have been enough to end his walk home (perhaps permanently!) but no. The dude managed to dust himself off and keep going, despite bumping into nearly every wall possible.

This video digs into why the actors worked so hard to perform the way the did, and how the screenwriter guided that process.
